At some point in life, we have to participate or throw a fundraiser. This can be in the form of various activities and events. You may choose to have a ball, a sports events, a teamwork challenge among many other things. This article is however on community-based fundraising charity ideas. This is a few of the ways a community can quickly raise money.

You can have a neighborhood street party. This is especially necessarily when calamity has struck the area. People can donate food and furniture like chairs and tables. Usually, everyone is invited, and it is conducted by one person who acts as the emcee. Different families prepare different meals which are shared by the whole neighborhood.

A garage sale is a great thing. People can get stuff at lowered prices, and you are able to get rid of things that you do not need. If you decide on a community garage sale, you can get rid of the things you do not need while at the same time you can get things you need at a lower price. The money collected can be directed to the project that needs fundraising.

After driving for three days or even a week, your vehicle is bound to become dirty. You will need to have It cleaned and what better way than to go to a fundraiser carwash. This will clean your car at the same time help you help the less fortunate. So any day, car washes are the easiest way to raise the needed funds.

Dog washing is also a great idea. Most dogs love water, and this will be their chance to play with as much of it as they want to. People from neighboring towns may actually drive in to have their pooches cleaned. This is a sure way to raise money. You may actually raise more money than previously anticipated which may lead to you improving the quality of the project.

Most ladies love shopping more than anything else. They would jump at the chance of shopping without having to pay for it. This is where cloth swapping comes in. This is where by you bring out the clothes you no longer wear and hang them on a rack. People will come around and pick out the things they like. That which is left can be donated to those who need it.

Another idea is convincing the local restaurant to donate their tips for one night to the less fortunate. You may also opt to ask them to donate a nights worth of profit to the less fortunate. The other option is having them cook a yummy meal for the homeless and less fortunate as a way of giving back to the community.

You can have scavenger hunting. Burry the items on the list all over the neighborhood. There should be a small enrollment fee, and the winner may choose to donate all or a part of the price to charity. This is both fun and helpful to the community.
